Trading Systems:
Advantage are fully professional trading systems for MetaStock, generating buy and sell signals based on technical analysis. The more aggressive version of the system, Aggressive Advantage, has also demonstrated very good performance. This system is designed for trading at increased investment risks. It has shown to be particularly effective in the case of highly volatile markets.

Advantage trading systems are tools not only for the equity market. They have performed very well with commodity markets and currency markets. The chart below presents EUR/USD futures listings. It is important to note the mechanism monitoring market conditions which precludes transactions at unfavourable timing. Advantage System analyses market conditions in order to determine the risk of transactions. If the risk is too high, no signals are generated. Expert module:
Advantage trading systems continually monitor the current market situation. Systems’ Expert module informs the user of buy or sell signals by way of short commentaries. Systems generate the exact price for the opening and closing positions one unit of time in advance (e.g., one day ahead, one hour ahead, etc.). |

The lack of optimisation and the same principles of generating investment signals for all instruments make Advantage and Aggressive Advantage (the higher risk version of the system) universal analytical tools. Expert modules commentaries have ensured above-average investment performance for many different stocks and market indices. Optimum Operating Conditions:
Like all trading systems, Advantage operate best under specific market conditions. As they are trend following systems, they are most effective in the case of stable markets, where clear long-term upward or downward trends prevail. Their performances are less effective in the case of horizontal trends as well as sharp and sudden corrections. Performances of the systems for the Warsaw stock market as well as other Central European markets have been very good since these markets have seen stable and long-term trends over the past few years.
Should the market trend become flat, gains are at a risk of a decline. In order to best protect the investor against potential losses, Advantage features a module that automatically monitors market conditions. Should it indicate that present market conditions preclude safe transactions, the system informs the user and generates no investment signals until the market once again exhibits a strong trend enabling gains at a low risk.
